Two Car Accident at 121 and 36

On April 4, 2013 at approximately 11:50 a.m. Darke County deputies along with, Tri-Village rescue and New Madison Fire Dept. were dispatched to SR121 and US36 in reference to a two vehicle injury accident.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2007 Honda Civic, driven by Michelle Heath (57) of Greenville, was driving eastbound on US36. Heath stopped at the stop sign at the intersection. Heath then started pulling across the intersection and was struck by a 2003 Buick LaSabre, driven by James Foreman (79) of New Madison, which was northbound on SR121.

Heath was treated by Tri-Village Rescue and was transported to Wayne ER. Foreman and his passenger, Betty Foreman, both refused treatment at the scene.

Heath was cited for Failure to Yield at a Stop Sign.
