On Wednesday, October 30, 2013, Tri-Village Rescue Services will host a free educational presentation, “Medicare 2014.”
This event is open to the public and will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at their location, 320 N. Main Street, New Madison (behind the Dollar General store). The featured speaker, local insurance agent Amy Farmer, will discuss changes to Medicare, the difference between Medicare Advantage plans and traditional Medicare, and options for the coming year. Information will also include assistance programs for low-income Medicare recipients, preventive health benefits and a question and answer session.
Free snacks will be provided for attendees. Please note that an agent will be present at this meeting, but there is no obligation to enroll in a plan. For questions, please contact Eric Burns at 996-3155 or Amy Farmer at 996-0092.
