Arcanum Wayne Trail Historical Society will open their doors for the annual amazing and one-of-a-kind Christmas Bazaar (with the lowest prices of the Christmas season) on Saturday, November 30th at 123 W. George Street in Arcanum between the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. The abundance of featured items is long and tempting for Christmas shopping and decorating.
The themed rooms for shopping start on the front porch of the building continuing inside with Beck’s Boutique (named for Beck’s Hotel once housed in the building) featuring accessories such as jewelry, scarves, jackets, the glittery and the unique.
The Gingerbread Bake Shoppe and Country Store featuring all kinds of Gourmet Popcorn in tall bags, homemade flavored mustards, along with tempting delicious homemade pies, cakes, cookies, brownies, and the famous Arcanum frozen Cheeseburger Soup plus other soups will be ready for purchase. These items are ready to use or may be frozen for your holiday entertaining. Continue shopping in the Country Store to find Gingerbread items, linens, cookbooks, and other decorative holiday items.
Kids’ Treasures Room will have books, games, toys, and kids’ clothing. There will be Christmas gifts items geared to kids for giving and receiving.
Especially for the crafty bargain hunter will be the Bits ’n ’Pieces room. A treasure of decorative items usable for any imagination will be available. These items are FREE to the any shopper. No limit on the number of free items for the taking. Fill your bag until your heart is content.
The large Conference Room will be a Christmas maze of decorations for the holidays, new this year will be 4 foot whimsical snowmen, tomato cage creations in all styles including Victorian, decorated birdhouses ,holiday decorated gate sections, and tall garden angels . Again, trees, trees, and more trees will available for sale. Tables in this room will be loaded with holiday angels, sleighs, stars, table arrangements, tree ornaments and items too numerous to mention. The signature Christmas Wreaths will line the walls of the room, garlands and swags will be among the holiday items. Look for a Santa Clause here and there among the items to add to your collection.
As in the past, the society will hold fast to their policy of the lowest and most affordable prices. Every person attending the bazaar will be entered for a door prize drawing, no purchase necessary nor need to be present. A 50-50 raffle will be conducted for $5.00 in advance sales or at the door. An in-house raffle for a $1 each or 6 for $5 will be held as well. Drawings for the raffles will be held at 5:30 P.M.
Come to the bazaar and do your early Christmas shopping at bargain prices, you will feel the Old-Fashioned Christmas spirit to start your holidays.
