The residents and staff of Versailles Health Care Center welcomed over 200 children to the health care center for a fun-filled afternoon of trick-or-treating. The children included neighborhood kids, grandchildren of residents, and employees’ kids. The kids dressed up as fairies, witches, cowboys and cowgirls, pirates, and much more! Candy Stump, Activities Director, said “I love these kinds of events because people of all ages smile and laugh together. It doesn’t get more rewarding than that.” Stump would like to thank Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Bruns Animal Clinic, Classic Carriers, John’s IGA, Midmark Corporation, Phelan Insurance Agency, Serendipity Mom’s, Versailles Ace Hardware, Versailles Dollar General, Versailles Rotary, and Versailles Schools as well as families of residents for donating candy for the event. Versailles Health Care Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center that offers short-term rehab services, outpatient therapy, and long-term care.
