Isabelle Rammel Wins Greenville St. Mary's School Spelling Bee


Greenville St. Mary’s School held their annual school-wide spelling bee on December 4th. Eighteen students from grades three through eight made it through the preliminary classroom competition to compete in the school competition.

Retired teacher, Mrs. Mary Wetzel, was the announcer. Principal Vern Rosenbeck judged the contest.

Fifth grader Isabelle Rammel came in first place. Landen Kreusch, also a fifth grader, came in second place. The third place speller was Bella Hartzell who is a seventh grader.

Congratulations to all the competitors for a fine contest! Isabelle and Landen will compete in the Greenville City Spelling Bee at Memorial Hall on January 7, 2014.
