The Dayton Business Journal reported this week that Canadian firm Precision Fab, Inc. has plans to open operations near Greenville this year.
The firm will operate at 963 Jaysville-St. Johns Road, the building formerly known as Cadillac Gage. According to the article, Precision Fab Inc "builds automotive part tracks used to ship car parts from suppliers to assembly lines."
The article states that the firm plans to hire 50 people immediately, however the Darke County Economic Development office, who along with the county and the city brokered the deal to bring the company here, clarified on their Facebook page that hiring wouldn't happen immediately at that level. Details will be posted when they're available, but this much is certain: a building that has been vacant for some time will get new purpose and bring new jobs to the area.
Congratulations to all involved!
