Pictured are the Adult STNA Students along with Board President Jim Sommer, President of City Council John Burkett, and County Commissioner Mike Stegall at the Adult STNA Graduation.
The Darke County Workforce Center recently graduated 20 students from their January/February 2014 STNA Program. In addition to Program Coordinator, Emily Powers, and Primary Instructor, Stephanie Lind, two additional instructors were added to help make the expansion of the program a success. Melissa Wright and Heather Bankson joined the Career Tech Team in an effort to both expand the program and provide personalized and quality instruction. As part of the program, the Darke County Workforce Center, hosted a recruitment night in allowing students to connect with local health care company providers and line up interviews.

The cost of the course is $575.00 and classes run Monday-Thursday from 3:30-8:30 PM. Those interested in a future course offering can target an April 28, 2014 date by contacting Emily Powers via email at epowers@greenville.k12.oh.us or Career Tech Director David Peltz at dpeltz@greenville.k12.oh.us or by phone at 937-548-4188. The STNA Program at the Darke County Workforce Center is a combined regional workforce effort involving Partnering for Progress and the Darke County Workforce Center at Greenville CTECH.
