State of the Heart Names New Hospice Aide

Chelsea L. Welch of Versailles has joined State of the Heart Hospice as a PRN Hospice Aide. She will work from the nonprofit agency’s Greenville office. State of the Heart cares for patients and families in eastern Indiana and western Ohio who are confronting a life limiting illness.

“I have heard nothing but good things from the people who work there,” she said. “It excites me to be a part of a team that cares so much not only for the patient, but the family as well.”

Prior to joining State of the Heart, she was a STNA for two years at the Brethren Retirement Community. When not working she enjoys spending time with her daughter, reading and fishing.
