This weekend at Wayne Cinema: The Fault in Our Stars

Hazel (Shailene Woodley) and Gus (Ansel Elgort) are two extraordinary teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them -- and us -- on an unforgettable journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous, given that they met and fell in love at a cancer support group. The Fault in Our Stars, based upon the number-one bestselling novel by John Green, explores the funny, thrilling and tragic business of being alive and in love.

The Fault in Our Stars is the surprise hit of the summer so far. The main characters are all newcomers with veteran actors Willem Dafoe and Laura Dern in supporting roles. IMDB's viewer rating is an extraordinarily high 8.4. This movie was made for $12 million and has already grossed almost ten times that ($119 million). The Fault in Our Stars is rated PG-13 for thematic elements, some sexuality and brief strong language.

Also opening at Wayne Cinema this weekend is Planes: Fire & Rescue. This is a sequel to last year's Disney hit Planes. Fire & Rescue is animated and short (83 minutes). A lots of critics are saying the same thing about this movie: OK for kids, not so hot for parents.
