On July 26, 2014, the V.F.W. Post #7262 will be hosting their annual golf outing at Turtle Creek Golf Course. This event will be open to the public with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. All proceeds from this event will go to the “The Journey Home” facility in Winchester, Indiana. The Journey Home is a residential/transitional facility who’s mission is “to make the impossible happen on a daily basis in the lives of homeless veterans with addiction problems.” This facility is open to veterans in Darke, Preble & Mercer counties in Ohio and a couple counties in Indiana.
Deadline for this event is Monday, July 21, 2014. Entry fee of $60.00 per golfer, which includes 18 holes with cart, meal to be served at the Greenville V.F.W., and a dance after the meal with Higgins & Madewell. There are cash awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places as well as raffles and door prizes.
