MILLIGAN WINS TENNIS TOURNAMENT
Greenville High School’s Natalie Milligan took first place at the Troy Strawberry Festival’s Tennis Shootout on June 3. Milligan, who played first singles for GHS as a freshman this past school year, played three matches to clinch her first place win in the Girls 14 and Under singles division. Milligan also competed in the Girls 16 and Under doubles division with Winchester, Indiana’s first singles player Mariah Roberts, who won the Girls 16 and Under singles contest. The duo took second place in the doubles division. Milligan, whose parents are Stu Milligan of Richmond, IN and Rebecca Detling of Greenville, is coached by Jim Koontz, GHS Girls’ Varsity Coach and by local tennis pro Jody Flommersfeld. Roberts is also coached by Flommersfeld. Other Greenville participants were Emily Marchal, Jack Marchal, and Landon Muhlenkamp.
