State of the Heart Care and Treaty City Motorcycle Club are joining forces on Saturday, July 22 for a hospice benefit run. The run, with the first bike out at noon, will cost $10 for a single rider and $20 for double riders, and will honor each veteran riding with a special ceremony. All proceeds from the run will benefit the veteran program and charity care of Ohio & Indiana State of the Heart hospice patients. The after party, starting at 6pm and lasting until midnight, will feature the band Renegade and has a $5.00 cover charge for those not riding in the benefit run. Also available is a pulled pork dinner and dessert for $6.00. This event is open to the public and all are encouraged to come.
Along with the ride, State of the Heart and Treaty City Motorcycle Club will be hosting a flea market and vendor fair. With a cost of $25 for a 10x10 outdoor space, any vendor can rent a spot to set up and sell their goods, whether it be a garage sale set, business booth, craft vendor, or farmers market; the $25 will also go towards veteran and charity care for all State of the Heart patients. There are still spots open for vendors, please call Christena Sharp 937-548-2999 to reserve your spot. C&T Rental and Williamson Insurance are sponsoring the event with Treaty City Motorcycle Club and State of the Heart Care. “We are so grateful for all the businesses who have sponsored and who have rented out vendor booths. The impact these funds make on our veteran community is outstanding. We are looking forward to an awesome turn out,” Sharp added. If you do not ride you are still encouraged to attend as we will have lots of vendors, great food and great entertainment.
