FORT GREENEVILLE DAR PARTICIPATION IN THE SUNshine 5K THIS YEAR

Fort GreeneVille Daughters of the American Revolution’s annual Thank A Vet 5k run/walk has been scheduled instead with the SUNshine 5K. The Darke County Foundation has graciously invited us to be a part of the SUNshine 5k. The event will be held 8:30am, September 16, 2017 at the Greenville City Park.

Once again we are raising money to support Angels for Veterans program Angel PAWS. They are an organization that gifts service dogs to local Veterans. Last year after our run/walk, we were able to donate $4000 to Angel PAWS.

Please make sure that you select DAR-Fort GreeneVille as your Group/Team. When you select us as your group, your registration fee will be donated to Fort GreeneVille DAR’s Angel PAWS donation.

If you would like to place a donation, you can go to https://runsignup.com/Race/OH/Greenville/SUNshine and select “Donate” then select “Other” and type in DAR-Fort GreeneVille. Your donation will be directed to Fort GreeneVille DAR’s Angel PAWS donation.

If you register by September 7th, the prices are:

$18 (includes long sleeve tech shirt)
$15 (14 and under with long sleeve tech shirt)
$5 age 14 and under no shirt

There will be homemade cookies, drinks, fruit, valuable door prizes and free childcare.
