Jill and Kevin's big day

Jill and Kevin will never forget their wedding day - nor will the 8.0 million viewers who've watched this video on YouTube. There are actually some sticks-in-the-mud out there who think this is a travesty. It's their wedding ... a celebration, remember? Good for them. If you've read this far, you absolutely have to watch this video.

Update: Here's a different point of view from aubandmom ...

Its okay to do this in a dance hall or other commercial setting, but in a church a holy place of God, NO!! I am no stick in the mud but there are places for these types of events and a church is not one of them. You select a church for a reason, just like some people choose outdoors or on a beach in FL. This just ain't it folks it's not a frat party and those of you who find humor in this are just acting like children.

Any thoughts on that?

  1. ALL WEDDINGS SHOULD BE JUST LIKE THAT! Great, thanks!

I saw this yesterday ... loved it. And it is their day do what they want, so the hell with those who didn't like it. Thanks for posting it.

  3. After watching this video I feel like I'm ready to get married. If we can make our wedding like this and not some boring thing for the elderly family members, we'll be together for the whole damn life.

  5. I do have to question the choice of song: Chris Brown is the guy that beat his girlfriend, Rhianna, correct? Just the way to start a marriage: dancing down the aisle to a song sang by a guy who beats his woman. So classy.

  6. What a joyous event---and I'm sure the vows were done in a serious manner. Lack of joy and humor is what is causing empty churches.

Per the Bible (aka - "The Handbook To Life") it says in 2 Samuel 6:14 - "And David danced before the Lord with all his might, wearing a priestly garment." As well as Jeremiah 31:13 - "Then maidens will dance and be glad, young men and old as well." Seeing as how there is no vulgar dancing and after all a wedding is a CELEBRATION.....I see absolutely nothing wrong with this. The Lord does not want us to go to church to be miserable....his house is open to just as much dancing as yours and mine. God bless!

  8. I agree also, with the 2 above. My old church is a "dead" church. No up-to-date music, no joy, no caring about younger people. If a church wants to grow, they need joyful worship, caring people, and a pastor (and his family) who has charisma. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD!

  10. I absolutely love it as well! Just wanted to comment on the post about the choice of song... The classic wedding march everyone plays at weddings was written by Wagner (an anti-Semite) who played a very important role in the anti-Semitism of Adolf Hitler. Stop trying to come up with criticism and enjoy the celebration...
