  1. that's hardly surprising when you consider 52% voted for obama

  3. maybe there's some correlation between the terrible job obama's doing and the sensitivity of his supporters ... :)

  4. Hell, I heard the Obama administration made cancer. He had sex with white woman, and he don't read the king james version of the bible. What is wrong with you people. There are things that hasn't went how I have wanted it to go as well, but is everything the fault of the president? T

  5. The percentage of Darke Co. that is republican is
    75%
If you add that to the number of close minded republicans %85
Take the total and divide by pi and it becomes obvious.

  6. According to the precedent set from 2000 to 2008 ... yes, everything is the fault of the president. If it was good for you then, it should be good for you now.

  7. For 8 years you blamed everything on Bush. Now that Obama is screwing things up, and people are blaming him. You libs are crying like babies. Talk about closed minded people. You think only libs can bitch and everyone else should be silent. I'm hate to tell you, it just doesn't work that way. So keep crying baby!

  8. Bush had 8 years to screw things up, Obama has only had 8 months to try to pull things out of the big ho;e the that Bush dug. It's amazining though, how is this 51% of Darke Countians going to pay for this legalized pot since there isn't any jobs here, which is BS, ohh!! thats right, drugs first then food and shelter for the kids.

  9. Drugs first then food and shelter for the kids. Thats the thinking of most Obama supporters. They like his thinking. The government will give you everything, don't worry about working.

  10. "Drugs first then food and shelter for the kids. Thats the thinking of most Obama supporters. They like his thinking. The government will give you everything, don't worry about working."

Please elaborate on this ingeniously insightful response. I would request more information on the basis of your assumption that all Obama supporters would like marijuana legalized. Further, I'm pretty sure that the thinking of more of those 'looney, zany libs' is to provide food and shelter to as many as possible, potentially to a fault.

Disagree with Obama's politics, as I do on many issues, but avoid blanket statements. This blog could be seen as representative of Darke's population. I, for one, can't stand blanket statements that are baseless and moronic.

I can't believe i just responded to that post. Ugh... back to work...

  11. Oh please. Putting drugs and alcohol before the needs of your family isn't exclusive to one party. That's not even a party issue. It's a moral issue. I know just as many republicans who abuse the welfare system as you know democrats who do. Being on welfare isn't party conclusive, either. You talk like you think ALL dems want a handout. Contrary to popular belief, we'd like to see the welfare system reformed. We'd like to see jobs return to our community and other communities across the country. We want life to be a little easier for everyone...not just democrats.

  12. It's obama that wants to keep people on welfare. I should say obama and a whole bunch of dems in congress. That way the people are dependent on the government for their survival. The dems want to keep people down enough and offer them food stamps, free cell phones, and other welfare to get their votes. The dems think they are the peoples party. People actually fall this crap, because they are lazy trash. They are fine with not working and letting everyone who works pay their way in life. Welfare should be short term, not long term way of life program.

  13. What I would like to see is the stop of ALL total govt. welfare. First we will stop social security. You only get back what you paid in. Then when it is gone, it is gone. Medicare, medicaid is done. You old people need to pull yourself up by your bootstraps and buy healthcare. We have the best healthcare system in the world, you need to keep your govt. hands off of my medicare. Farmers, forget those subsidies payments, we want no welfare. We will earn every dollar and let the free market do as it will. Reduced school lunches, thats too bad, them kids are going to have to go hungry, this will make them want to work harder to not have to take handouts from the govt.

People, think of what you say before we really bash on govt. welfare. I agree that there is some third generation welfare our there, but to completely abolish the welfare to all is more than you realize.

Seriously, I more or less agree with what i think you are saying, but broad generalizations about 'dems' make you sound moronic. as the above poster points out, there's more to this than just 'cutting off welfare' or conspiracies to gain votes. There's a solid belief by a large portion of the population that it is our prerogative to help our society. Whether you agree or disagree, this basic fundamental is not a method to attract votes or control people. At that point you are fear mongering and just plain ignorant.

  15. I agree that there should be a time limit on being on welfare. You should not be able to live your whole life on it. There is no reasonable explanation why the government would give out free cell phones. Also above statement was about a large portion of the population wanting to help society. I don't know if allowing people to live on welfare all their lives is helping them. I know that not all people live on welfare all their lives. I do agree that it is suppose to be short term not long term. Also above poster, making a broad generalization about a large portion of the population wanting to help society. Makes you sound moronic.
