  2. I had to detour the scene on Sat. night after 10:00 PM. The deceased was still in the street (covered) and surrounded by a fleet of police and sheriff's cars, tape, and a large crowd of spectators. A spectator told me the name of the victim. With still no news about the identity of the pickup driver, you wonder if he is important enough that it will take until Mon. or Tues. for a rug of sufficient size to be delivered from Georgia in order to sweep this under.

  3. Is it just me or is it becomming the trend in darke county to not give out any information about any accidents. The Advocate is very bad at giving a "teaser" story but never following it up with the facts reguarding the story. The news reports used to believe in the 4 w's, who, what, when and where.

  4. I think it's odd that they haven't released more information, like names. But that's Darke co. for you. Either way, it's tragic. My condolences to this mans family and friends.

They are not sweeping anything under the rug. During investigations its normal not to release names until they get all the facts.
