Versailles Tammy Berger has won the Division 3 girls state cross country title today at Scioto Downs in Columbus. Berger's winning time was 18:47.94 (beating the second place runner by almost eight seconds). Berger was in sixth place at the mile mark (5:52.40), but moved into first place by the two-mile mark (12:04.60). Congratulations Tammy!
Russia's Katie Borchers finished third in the same race (19:10.05). And Versailles Sam Prakel finished 13th in the boys D3 race (16:30.60).
