Some of these people are local! Look in the phone book or on the Darke County Auditor's web site of property taxes for their addresses. If they own their home, they are there. Are you opposed to calling people in the phone book with their last name and asking them? Their parents are likely still here too. I am on my reunion committee and these are some of the things we do to find people. You need locals on your committee. Split up the names and then meet to help with people you are having trouble finding. You would be surprised how you can reduce the list of "not found" classmates.
ReplyDeleteI said this on chat, and I'll say it here. My friend is from this class and told me that he recieved a phone call from the committee for the 20th reunion...now here he is on the "missing" list!
ReplyDeleteAlso, TGP is right on how to find people. I read this list and saw 8 names that I know are in the phone book, and there is probably several more.
AGREE! WOW! What did the class president, vice president etc...think? If you weren't willing to do it, you should have turned it down in 86!!! Who are the PRESIDENT and VICE PRESIDENT OF THIS CLASS?? (maybe they are on the list!! lol)
ReplyDeleteMaybe they could set up a Facebook page for class of 1986 and then those people might know someone and etc....?
ReplyDeleteThere is a Facebook page set up.... It says so in the post and even has a link to it.
ReplyDeleteSad that they are missing over 100 people:( Maybe they don't want to be found.
ReplyDeleteI received an email from one of the people in charge asking for my address. I sent it to her and I am still on the missing list.
