  2. This man has been a god fearing, upstanding citizen in Arcanum for a number of years...many of us find this hard to believe.

  3. I do not think it is fair to associate Mr. Rowe with what his son's criminal past. He is still an upstanding citizen. I have watched him with his boys and his grandchildren, I think there is alot more to the story but that is the families business. I wish the best of luck to Mr. Rowe and his family with this trial and tribulation.

  5. i do not know the story, i know the action that went on this street that evening. if there were illegal weapons that would be something i would not want this close to my home or the home of anyone else. if there was other stolen property that too is not something i know i do not want here. this has been discussion on our block. the man is innocent until proven guilty. i do not pry into a neighbors business and know nothing of the son. i will say from the young people i have spoken too the son appears to be into trouble a bit more than a parent would want. raising children is a daunting task. i took my job quite seriously and think each of mine has learned to use the tools given them to make wise decisions. but if this man is guilty then those who feel he is worthy of their kindness should welcome him and this activity nxt to there house. we really want quiet and peace on our street. as far as god fearing, there are member and officials of churches making headlines daily for their human faults. no one on this block seems to know this man or his character, we only know what happened to our quiet street that night and hope not to have a repeat.

    1. I am the person who was arrested on January 6, 2012. Those of you who know me personally know further about my reputation and good standing in the community. I have devoted my time and assistance to the schools and in general those in need of help. The papers seem to have a way of trying and convicting a person long before any case goes to trial, so unfair to say the least! Without giving an autobiography of my life I will say that I am a member in good standing of one of the largest Unions in the country, love my family and real friends and would give the shirt off my back to anyone in need. I believe in God and country and have respect for law enforcement when applied properly. The badge don't necessarily make you right 100% of the time. The measures that were employed that night were way overboard, for me to elaborate further without first going thru the legal process would certainly be detrimental, therefore I will remain silent until this matter is resolved in a court of law. It's so easy for someone to set back and read the newspaper and judge me, you don't know me, so don't judge me by what some news hungry reporter elects to write about. As far as my son is concerned, as a parent I tried diligently for years to free him of the harrowing life that heroin has taken him thru, all to no avail. He is 25 years old and has to answer for his mistakes, my responsabilities as far as a parent stopped 7 years ago, so again don't judge me for the life my son chose to live. The street cleaner that runs up and down the roads of Arcanum doesn't get the dirt that resides in alot of homes in this community, the ones that manage to go undetected! If you want to dig up dirt in this community, take yet another shovel full and you will see that our quiet little town has numerous faults and undesirables. Thank you to everyone that is willing to attest to my good character and will stand up in court and testify to the same. Further, your statement about no one on this block not knowing me or my character, I don't know what street you are getting your information from! Judge not lest ye be judged!!
