Greenville Utility Office Moving to the City Building

In an ongoing effort to best utilize taxpayer dollars, the City of Greenville is combining the Utility Office and the Income Tax Department. With recent cuts in personnel and the possibility of future reductions, this move is being made in order to best utilize current staffing and continue to provide excellent customer service to the citizens of the community. The Utility Office will be relocated to the City Building effective January 23, 2012.

To pay your water bill on this date and afterwards, you will need to come to Room 140 (current Income Tax office) of the City Building during normal business hours or use the Night Deposit drop on the north side of the City Building for after-hours deposits.

The transition should be seamless and there should be no interruption of service to the general public. There will be no longer be drive thru service available, but again there will be a night deposit available for the public to use. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Mayor’s Office at 548-1819
