WHIOtv.com was again in Darke County this weekend, this time covering a mock disaster held at Continental Carbonic in Greenville Industrial Park and Lighthouse Christian Center.
The mock disaster was organized by the Darke County EMA and the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) and Darke County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management Agency and allowed several local organizations prepare for "a scenario of a hazardous materials release and area evacuations," according to an earlier release about the event.
