Greenville’s Got Talent!

This year, we are hosting a talent show for our annual fund raising event. Open auditions will be held Saturday October 5th at noon at the Greenville Senior High School. The competition will be held on Saturday October 12th at 7:00 pm at the Greenville Senior High School gym. We will also have a BBQ dinner and a silent auction in conjunction with our talent show. The BBQ dinner and silent auction will begin at 5:00 pm that evening. The price of auditioning for the show is $5.00 per individual act. If you are performing in a group, each group member pays a $3.00 entry fee. Do you think you are too old to tryout? Nonsense! There are two divisions, junior and senior, that will be judged separately. The junior division includes high school age and younger. The senior division is for adults. You will be judged by a 3 judge panel for 50% of your score. The other 50% will be based on how the audience votes. The public may purchase votes for their favorite acts for $5.00 each at the show and the week prior. Tell your friends and family to support you and the Greenville school children by buying bunches of votes for your act! The top three winners in both divisions will be rewarded with a trophy and cash prize ($200, $100, $50).

The Greenville Schools Foundation raises funds that serve the classroom needs of our local children. 1. Open auditions before our panel of 3 judges on Saturday October 5th, noon, at the Greenville Senior High School room 110.
2. Sign up with Patti Jetter 937-443-4434, Dave Ernst 937-548-1114, Chelsea Whirledge at the Greenville Senior High, or Pamela Graves at the Greenville Junior High.
3. Audition entry fee $5.00 per individual act. $3.00 for each member of a group act.
4. Performance length not to exceed 3 minutes.
5. Finalists will perform at the talent show on Saturday October 12th at 7:00pm at the Greenville Senior High School gym.
6. There are 2 divisions: a Junior Division - high school & younger, and Senior division – for adults
7. Trophy & cash prizes for the top three places in both divisions ($200,$100,$50)
8. Judging – 50% panel of judges 50% audience vote – votes may be purchased for $5.00 each at the show and the week prior. Encourage your friends and family to buy votes to support you!
